“Run Through Life” – Ad Campaign

Fit2Run wanted to showcase how their footwear is there for you throughout all of life’s many journeys.

I helped them creat a heartwarming coming-of-age story that shows audiences how Fit2Run is there for them every step of the way. 

Fit2Run is a family-owned and locally operated specialty running retailer dedicated to supporting their local communities. They have brick-and-mortar stores throughout Florida and Puerto Rico. They wanted to create an ad campaign that focused on how footwear and athleticism follows us throughout our lives. 

The concept was to create a series of vignettes based on the tagline “Run Through Life.” We shot the piece with a barebones crew of only two people, myself included, utilizing guerilla-filmmaking techniques and unique locations throughout Sarasota, Florida to cerate this authentic story.

Working with only one other creative partner, we both acted as co-producers handling everything from budgeting and casting to scouting and scheduling. 

Project Outcome

In the end we were able to create a campaign that rang true to the experience of growing up with a passion for athleticism from a young age. This project will always have a special place in my heart. It was and still is one of the purest forms of filmmaking that I’ve ever had the pleasure of being a part of. The constraints required of this project pushed me to be at my most creative and the final product still holds up today.
